Shangrila started its business in 1983 with the opening of the first Resort Hotel in Skardu, Baltistan. It was first ever Resort established in the northern areas for tourism. It was named HEAVEN ON EARTH due of its stunning beauty, breathtaking view and peaceful ambiance. This serene & scenic resort was founded by the Brig. Muhammad Aslam Khan, the first commander of the Northern Scouts who played a major role in liberation of the Northern areas in 1948. Pakistan. Shangrila Resort is a brainchild of Brig. Aslams indomitable spirit, sheer grit and hard work.

In case of a flight cancellation or a landslide, we will be happy to accommodate you on another day subject to room availability within the same season till October 31st, 2026. However, if the reservation is cancelled. 1st-night room rent will be charged as cancellation charges. The refundable amount will be transferred via bank transfer in the next thirty working days. 100% advance payment is required for room reservation confirmation. The extra mattress will be charged Rs 5000/-. Complimentary Airport Pick & Drop. Complimentary Breakfast Check-In time is 02:00 PM Check-Out time is 11:00 AM. Please find attached the temporary reservation voucher. Full advance payment is required in next 24 hours for confirmation. booking will be cancelled automatically. Please note that upon check-in, a valid CNIC or NICOP is required for Pakistani nationals, while a valid passport and visa are mandatory for foreign guests.
